Hi you two, we met at Deal over Easter. I think you may find that you need a 2007 van to be compliant there is the odd 56 plate that complies and even the odd 07 that does not ( I know this from checking number plates of advertised vans on the LEZ site for someone else) as to making something complaint I have no idea. Perhaps the LEZ site could help. A couple of links.... how to comply: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/lez/2537.aspx
    Is it compliant: https://lowemissionzone.tfl.gov.uk/b/pb/lezComplianceProvideVRM.faces
I hope that helps a bit! Jane

If you use the link I put in.. is it compliant (put in registration numbers) it soon tells you. Testing it out it does not matter if the vehicle is plated at up to 3.5 tonnes or weighs more. It also says if the vehicle is compliant now and if it will be in 2012. Assuming the regulations actually come into force. Hope that makes it clear! :Rofl1: Jane

use the lez compliance test and make sure it is compliant for 2010

Just enter the registration - if it says NON compliant for 2010 or 2012

    DONT BUY IT

remember the Mayor for London is hoping to get the LEZ compliance deferred from October 2010 however there is no guarantee so if the vehicle shows as non compliant

    DONT BUY IT

Good luck on whatever you purchase.

i do believe the only way to make non complient complient is a re engine
or a lot of faffing with the exhaust

think thats what was done with black cabs as one cabby vocifouresly told me
when i moaned about mine being non complient and me on the fringe of the m25:Eeek:

best bet is to move home by at least 50 miles from london to ensure the lez doesnt apply for the next 20 years.:thumb:
