    Evening everyone.

Have raised the funds to afford the Kipor IG3000 Generator.

Anyone out there had and any dealings or problems with this model or reccomend something better.

    hi mark,

if the IG3000 is anywhere near as good as my IG2600 then you will have no trouble whatsoever.....:thumb::thumb:

only bettered by the honda engine in my opinion and the electronics are supposed to be 'stolen' from honda's design anyway.

yes, bought new from a guy on ebay.....that should answer the aftersales question as well... but it did come from a reputable dealers ebay shop so it was guaranteed for a year.
cant remember the dealers name now.

biggest single load is the aircon unit....it was bought with this in mind.
also ran the electric heating and boiler, not at the same time though, and the microwave.

it normally lives below the lounge window (chained to towbar) and if the windows closed it is JUST audible but not intrusive.

if i chain it to the front towing eye we cant hear it if the TV's on.

the only 'extras' were a pair of 12v battery charger leads.
