On my Nexus 7 I can turn the brightness of the screen up or down. For Some reason this does not apply to the kindle app. I find it too bright for reading indoors. Anyone know how to adjust please?

I would think you should be able to change brightness from the Kindle menu.

You can, but it does not seem to apply to the Kindle app.

Go into the Font settings top of page Aa, there is a brightness slider control in there, oops! that's on the iPad Kindle app but should be the same:thumb:

    Ken,
On the Android app for Kindle you can reverse the page, giving white script on a black background.
I find this easier on the ageing eyeballs.

Just looking at the Kindle page again Ken, I described the Aa symbol at the top of the page as "Fonts", because that's how I normally perceive it to be, but when you click into it, its actually described as "Options"
