I have just installed and filled a 2 x 6kg Gasit system. I was unsure of how much gas to put in on filling up because you fill in litres. I filled to 14.9 Ltrs (both bottles) and the auto stop didn't come in so I stopped it there.
Can somebody please tell me how much gas should fill (to 80% of course) a 6 kg bottle?

    TIA
    John.

    1kg gas = 2 lts

    6kg bottle holds 12 lts ..

6kg is 80% of the bottle capacity

Gasit suggest 11ltr per bottle maximum fill for first fill, for 6kg bottles
Afterwards fill until the pump shuts off

Don't forget to turn the gas bottle valves off when filling

First fill got 24 litres in before the cut-off (Gaslow) which was what Dave Newell told me would happen. Thereafter max would be 11 litres per bottle - never since got there before the cut-off, well, cut off!
