.. sitting here in the kitchen on the pc, glass of wine and looking out the window at the silver-lined clouds and wishing we were 'running for the ferry'. That's the expression used by truckers on a sunday morning, at least it was by Sandy before he retired 7 years ago when he was off to Dover for another week away. Ho hum ....! Suppose I'll just have to stuff the turkey instead.

OOoh - I've got lots more, worse than that. My son's first memory of being in the truck is of his dad waving a club hammer out of the window at another ...... driver. whoops e daisy!
