Just ordered up some snow chains probably won't use them got them if asked and if needed as i will be still in Italy /France end of November.

Thats me and my good lady ready for the off Saturday hope to be away for around 90 days see how it goes. First stop on our way to the tunnel is Crossfells at Penrith for the night. Garge all packed and going to the weighbridge Friday just to see if I need to go on a diet.

Some pictures still in Italy parked up at Alberobello and had a walk around the village. Best bit so far was the Dolomites.

We were the same - we’ve visited it 3 times now, and won’t be rushing back!

We were in Italy in June & July and have to agree with you that the Dolomites were fantastic. It looks like you stayed on the same sosta as us for the three peaks too

We are leaving Sicily tomorrow to drive up Italy. Still got a lot more dodging vehicles being driven my mad people

Good luck! You guys would love the Dolomites, if you've not been before I definitely recommend them. I know you like your walking and outdoor spaces.

That's another trip, love geology, the excellent marble cut from that area, is amazing.
