Has anyone toured IoM? We have 7 days there in August to attend a wedding. Ideally we would like 3 campsites, one near Douglas required as the wedding is at Peel Castle.

Any recommendations or oddities to look out for?

Hi Janine can suggest 3 campsites one in Peel very popular, one just outside Douglas on the bus route, and one in Port Erin (newly opened). all these would require early booking will supply details if required.

Is that because it's so small we can just do day trips out to wherever?

Ok. Well everywhere is nice and quiet and great for the dog. Do you want a proper campsite and not too bothered about being able to walk to a pub or restaurant?

It's a great place for motorhomes and wild camping is fine. There are not too many real campsites as we know them but thre are a few if you need toilets and showers.

The campsite in Peel is fine and handy for where you want to be. The buses are great and very dog friendly .
