Hi there. We've been motorcaravaning for about 25 years, starting with an orange VW, which our children called Bob for Big Orange Bus. We kept Bob for over 15 years and then, just the two of us, moved on to a Duetto. We love the U.K. and have only ventured abroad in the m/c once, though we have hopped on aeroplanes from time to time.
We've taken the plunge again and bought a nearly new Timberland, ready for this year's forays to the Lakes and Scotland and the Isles. Wales might get a look-in this year too and perhaps we might cross the Channel and go down the Rhine. I'll no doubt be asking for some expert advice when we do the Rhine trip!

    Now you are talking.

Use the site search facility to find "lorelei" for a glowing report on the prettiest place on the Rhine and "Rhine Fall" for the most spectacular. The first is an easy day's drive from Calais.

It's a start, once you see what you've been missing you'll be hooked.
