Good saving!

My son has always used AIB but they are never the cheapest for me. Perhaps they prefer youngsters 🤪

I’ll try them again next week and see if they are cheaper than Advance.

Or for me this year, 250% up on last year

Still dropping clangers and making it up as I go along
I changed to AIB last year never again
I'm ditching them ASAP.
Although it's an LV policy they appear not to.be able to.recognise the previous LV policy
Take the money then the issues arise

Buyer beware

Strange, I was with same but probably never again.
Still waiting for an email that I asked for two weeks ago.
Was cheap enough last two years but now thinking it was probably a good thing we didn’t really need any assistance as their customer concern handling is woeful

I have just left AIB after 2 years as they decided a 34% increase in the premuim was good value for money.
Nothing has changed in my policy or situation so I did a online price comparison.
I tried talking to them regarding this increase and quoted online quotes that where far cheaper and they came back with a improved but still not competative 20% increase, telling me that I could not have found it cheaper?
Bye AIB I wont be coming back.

As my post above, Advance put my renewal price up by a whopping £80 to £289.

I did a quick comparison and Caravan Club came out at £188!!! Exactly the same cover/excesses/ncd protection.

Advance offered me a £40 reduction again but wouldn’t budge any more. To be fair though, they did send my proof of no claims through very quickly.

Unfortunalty AIB renewal information is very scant and they failed to send the NCD or even acknowledge them so I had to find the renewal without them, even so Caravan guard was cheaper than the best AIB could offer with the NCD

I'm dreading renewing as AIB are refusing to acknowledge NCD it will be direct to LV to get confirmation and then ditch them, even if they are the cheapest

Start doing the homework for best quotrs, they expecting you to hold on untill they tell you its x y z then you too late to get a good quote. All quotes you get now will be valid for min 30 days. You can then take or reject the AIB quote when they finally ring you with the email details sent through.
