We lived in a Halkirk for 14 years so know what you mean ! Our kids thought rain came only horizontal lol

Well husband worked for Rolls Royce and I worked for DWP ! Both our children were educated at Halkirk Primary and Thurso High ! Son is now a pharmacist in Plymouth and daughter a university professor in Melbourne !!

We moved to Cornwall from Halkirk with Rolls Royce and lived there for 12 years before retiring to France 12 years ago .
