It would be 3 items valued at £65 each £195 total?

You will have paid tax in the EU so would think none payable especially if you have used items --

No there are issues and nothing to pay., you will no doubt be paying the VAT (iva) in Spain and that 21% so dearer than UK.
Just like when you go over in the motorhome, buy loads of stuff there and bring it back...

It's only places like Gibraltar, Canary isles, Andora and similar places where they have low or no taxes on goods.. Or countries where you import and have not paid any tax..

Unless you are shipping in FAGS and BOOZE.. Thats a different matter..

Surprised that they are cheaper in Spain ? Most items are not at present...
Have you done a good shop around, make sure you get a proper postage costs as that can sometimes catch you out..

There are loads of 446 PMR stuff here in UK.. Is that what your getting ??

3 X inteks mt5050 with the sma 20mm anteni for £190 inc postage

best price I could get over here was for each unit £65 for radio +£10 sma mod+ £15 for anteni (prices rounded up) £90 or £270 plus postage or collection costs

worth taking the chance of possible pros

There is NO duty to pay on any amount of goods when shipping between EU countries

We spend a couple of grand a month with a stainless steel supplier in Germany, about the same in France on molded plastic stuff such as screens etc..

WAtch out if that is the one in the ebay link !!

Note the address ..it is CANARIES, Tenerife.. !!
Has a VERY good chance of being stopped for tax !!!!
You may be lucky and it gets through but be prepared for 20% on top just in case plus maybe a handling fee...

Also 4w PMR446 is illegal in UK and probably rest of Europe too, though hard to see how anyone could tell. The propagation of 4w at ground level is probably much the same as 0.5w on a small hill.

I am afraid its true and believe me when I say they are shortly going to run a long and hard campaign to catch all those using a 446 unit that does not conform to MPS1302 unlicenced public radio communication devices .. Radios taken off you and destroyed and up to a 3 month prison sentence ( it is all down to sodding terrorists using the things .. once again the ordinary people will get the creappy end of the stick whilst those that are the real bad guys will not give a damn )

Just get a couple of standard units.. .5 watt output will give you at least a 1/4mile range anyway :thumb:

Sadly equally illegal ! But far less likely to bring down the wrath of the gods ( as in the DTI ) .. Would usually be dealt with ( if .. IF you got caught ) with friendly advice
