My colleague has a 2017 ELDISS BOXER and has lost the immobiliser ***worse still he has been parked on a double yellow lane for over a week now occurring numerous tickets next could be the clamp have rang numerous company to no avail we are based in Bristol ***HELP

Hi why not call out aa or RAC to recover the vehicle, if the immobiliser is faulty.

If a broken down vehicle is in contravention of parking regulations a penalty charge notice may be issued.

When appealing please supply evidence such as a receipt from the garage, recovery company or a receipt for parts to support your appeal.

You should decide whether to:

• pay the penalty charge notice
• appeal the penalty charge notice

Report to the authority issuing the tickets that the vehicle has broken down, this should stop any further issuing of tickets and hopefully may result in clearing previously issued tickets.

As Stanbrook says, recovery best bet. Sounds like a right pickle and I hope the council is understanding.
