The trailer base looks like a cheep Chinese kit. I bought one 10 years ago to build a custom trailer. It needed the ply base as it had no stiffness to it as bolted together it just flexed. Wheel bearings lasted 3000 miles. Surprised he did the outer skin in such thin strips of fibreglass and not whole sheets like the boot. Certainly a good effort.
I built a teardrop trailer a few years ago. It was more of a learning exercise on how to package everything including double bed, sink, hob, 240v fridge, hifi. Squeezed it all in there in the end but moved on to bigger things
He forgot one important function
BRAKES
No matter how you look at it it's over 750kg.
Using ¾" ply for everything and what looks like 4" C section steel for the frame.
Just noticed its in America-land.... Weight means nothing over there.
