I have always dispatched SWMBO to flail her arms randomly whilst I negotiate a narrow pass, whilst I man the peddles and decide whether or not we fit, and completely ignore the flailing arms, because frankly I don't have a clue what she is trying to indicate!

So far it has worked well!

Feel for them. I've been in some pretty tight spots but, err, scraped through by the skin of my teeth/folded mirrors.

I don't think they intended to get themselves into such a position. Hope they got out without too much expense!
