Hi, does anyone know which Hymer's (used) have a fixed bed over a garage? I am interested in a Hymer B-Starline 630 but are there any other models with similar spec?

    Thanks

The B514 is the same size and layout as a B630 Starline, but it is on a Fiat base rather than MB.

Other rear transverse bed models are listed below.

B680 Starline - larger version of B630 on a MB 413/6 chassis 7.4 metres long (beautiful, but quite expensive van).

B700 Starline - same size as B680 but with the "Bar Seating" layout (i.e. one captain's chair + settee) in the lounge area.

B614 or B644G - 7 metres long, Fiat-based and similar in layout, the 614 has a larger washroom but slightly smaller lounge area (single dinette) than the 644 (double dinette). Both were often specified with L-shaped lounges instead of dinettes.

S-klasse 820 - 8.3 metres long and based on a MB 616 chassis (beautiful but very pricey - Edgehill Motorhomes are selling a 2005 one at £74,995).

This list relates to B-klasse made between about 2000 and 2006. Having had a B630 for just over three years (our first and only motorhome) we love it and recommend the model.

p.s. Hymer UK (Brownhills) have a RHD manual B630
