thought I would go up to Aviemore tomorrow for the night ( only hour away) so as catch the racing Sat afternoon & Sun so phoned Glenmore Campsite and have to phone tomorrow as half the site closed due to snow and more heavy snow due tonight so may not be able to get on a pitch
Site supposed to be open all year !!!! Oh the joys of Scottish weather

Yea that is true Jim but if no snow the run on wheels rather than sleds
As you say nice site we go up quite a bit BUT my grip is how can you advertise open all year ( bearing in mind it's position) and make no effort to clear the roads or pitches!!!
    Maybe it's just me

    can well believe it..

when we were there only 4x4s were going anywhere on the site .. we were fortunate, had a Landrover + caravan .. so no problems..
