we use the 'wardrobe door method' if it swings open too quickly we're not level! Think I need to adopt your method @Brian and Jo as it looks much more civilised
I use the bathroom door method - if it is slightly down at the front, it's important for it to swing open, not shut just as you're walking though it with your hands full. Also means Pete doesn't roll towards me to hard in bed - I get the outside and hate getting shoved out.
But - really - we actually use a spirit level!

Going into the toilet with your hands full of what ????it's important for it to swing open, not shut just as you're walking though it with your hands full
But was the verb " to roll" what brought on those expressions? The verb to roll infers involuntary movement on his part. It absolutely does not encompass ANY movement with intent!
Back to the Prosecco againI just fill the bathtub and see where the bubbles are
