LHD Citroen relay 2013 with the ford 2.2 puma diesel engine.
My usual oil Exol 5w30 fully synthetic low saps has gone up £20 a 20 litre container so I’m looking for an alternative as I do my own oil changes!
I’ve found 2 that fit, one that’s for dpf engines and one that’s for non dpf engine!
How do I know if I have a dpf!?

You will almost certainly have one due to vehicle year.

Our 2013 Peugeot Boxer with a 2.2 Puma engine has a DPF.

Just noticed the vehicle in questions is a LHD suggesting possibly not first registered in the UK, however DPF fitments were an EU directive which means the dates of introduction will be exactly the same as here.

A question to the wise out there/here. What is the best speed/revs combination required to clean out the DPF please.
I never had problems running a previous diesel car and no problem to date with the van, tempting fate maybe.
2016 Fiat Ducato van, thanking you in advance. (y)

As soon as you start up drive off when nearly at the end of your journey just ease down a bit thats all it should take if you do a lot of town traffic try the odd burst when the engine is warm for 5 miles sorted.
