Friend’s advice ( both knees replaced) is follow the physio’s exercises to the letter.

MiL had a new knee a few years back and surgeon said it healed and worked so well because she did a lot of walking before op and after!
Apparently the trick is to make it work until you cry!

Good luck Merv,,had mine done 5 years ago when i was 69,,best thing i ever did after years of pain..Get walking and cycling on it as soon as you are able, much better exercise than physio will give you..BUSBY.

Up date when to hospital today to have op but unfortunately they postponed it at the last minute now having it done on the 5 September dam and blast it got all geared up for it too well that’s life will keep you all posted on my next episode ??
