no it's best to put the hot water on for half an hour at midnight, or you can monitor the temperature and switch it on boost from where you are as long as you have the internet

Not sure you have the option of independently setting the hot water when it’s in holiday mode?

I have not tried to do that but I've never used holiday mode, I set it off so frost protection 7 deg I then turn it on the day before we're home. If it was me I would leave the hot water on a short time every day otherwise you will have to check the weather every day and decide if you need to reprogram the system that day.
