Help with spotlights (1 Viewer)

I am looking to change all of the bulbs to LED in my 2008 Adria Coral 660SL. With that in mind I decided to take the glass out of one of the spotlights in the lounge area of the van to see what size the aperture is. What a pig to do!! I ended up breaking the black plastic ring that holds the glass in place.

Attached (I hope) is a couple of photos of one of the spotlights (not broken), which takes a G4 Halogen bulb. You can see the black plastic retaining ring around the glass. I do not think they are unique to Adria (hope not at their prices) because I think I have seen them on other motorhomes.

So I have two questions

Firstly does anybody know how to take the glass out without breaking things. Secondly does anybody know where I can buy a replacement black ring, or, if worse come to worse, a new identical light.

Doesn't the plastic ring just turn being held on a couple of pegs like a bayonet fiitting
