Please can someone recommend places to stop from marsaille to Calais. We want to stop approx 5-6 locations.

The Aire at 'Gurgy', just north of Auxerre is lovely. E7 per night with hookup, nice level riverside location plus a wine (Chablis) tasting cabin in season.
'Mareuil-sur-Ay' is another one a bit further up by Epernay. Plenty of others about, look in the 'All the Aires' book.

There is a nice Campsite in Salbris which is worth a stop.
On the N20 between Vierzon and Orleans "

Get yourselves a copy of the Camperstop Europe book (Amazon) and simply set off in vaguely the right direction each day until you decide it's time to stop. Then head for the nearest aire in the book - if it's not to your liking, carry on to the next one - simples. If you prefer to plan where you are going, it's very easy to decide how many miles you want to drive each day and earmark one or two possible stopping places. Hope you have a great trip.
