So final day of France trip I managed to put a hole in my Luton roof. Any advise guys? It's a bailey van so Alu Tec roof, fibreglass.

Do I just fill with sealant?
Can it be easly repaired and painted over?
    Big sticker?
Or local body shop with credit card?

stick anything over it just for the timebeing so no water gets in duck tape or bathroom mastic will do (bearing in mind I am no expert).

Johns Cross motorhomes can do a proper fibreglass repair when you return home. Their work is excellent

Am sure there will be someone more knowledgeable along soon although many funsters are at shrewsbury this week

It's of to body shop for you any good body shop will soon put it right
    Even I could do it
But I can never seem to get the perfect finish that the pros get
    I would not try it

I did something very similar in the fibre glass part of my Autotrail whilst visiting Spain last year. I taped it up and had it repaired at home by Elite Motorhomes.:thumb::thumb:
It cost a shed load of money :Doh:
Never trust someone else to guide you in :Sad:

Oops, I would do as Gail said with the duck tape for now. Then maybe check out a boat repairer. Aren't they fibre glass. Might be totally wrong:Doh: but that's off the top of my head without googling it:BigGrin: bit far to go to johns cross from Ireland though:Wink:

Duct tape for the time being, depends on how nice you want it to look.

DIY fibreglass ribbon on inside, should the only show as hairline crack on outside with a bit of luck but surely its insured!
