Enquire when they were last damp checked and ask to see the service engineer's report form. It wouldn't do any harm to take a damp meter with you.

If they are both the same inside, for what you want ,it would be a ford for me anyday

i will share a wild camping site with an amazing view in Argyll for any help

Can't resist a good wild camping pitch.

Our first van was a flash 03. For a relatively low priced van they are very well built. I would say that as long as the layout is what you want it is a good buy. We had no problems with ours. I would recommend buying one.

The Chausson will be a better van than the 656, I say that having owned a 656.

One thing for sure is that with that mileage it may be an x hire van :thumb:

I have an '05 model Carioca 656 which has done us good service in most respects and we like the layout, but damp in the roof above the kitchen section has been something of a concern. The mileage seems a bit on the high side for a 2009 model. We've done less than that in 8 years and we take it abroad whenever we can.
