Hi alll i am UKPete, just joined up here i was not looking to join a forum but when i stumbled upon motorhomefun i just couldn't resist , so here i am soaking up all the good info, and stories especially 2014 Morocco.
I lookforward to posting more about me and my van, but i have only just got back into the scene and am waiting on good weather before i can test out my new van,
The van is a proffesionally converted Renault master 3 berth with a motorbike garage, it has diesel water, and air heating (webasto thermotop), sterling fast batterycharger, 3 batteries two of them lesuire, 135w solar panel, TV dvd, shower ,toilet sink ,4 hob cooker/grill, compressor fridge, and much more, the one thing i would like to add is an oven of some sort, perhaps an inverter and micro oven, or maybee a portable gas oven, it would have to be portable as i have no room left to plumb one in permanently, if its cool i will post up some pictures of my set up
The van is not totally obvious as a motorhome/camper, and so i can get away with a bit of off grid stealth camping/ wild camping, this will help keep the cost of touring down as i can split up between pay sites and discrete side of the road camping, the wife is looking forward to getting involved with my new obsession but also i am looking forward to some solo journeys, just me a motorbike a mountain bike and the open road
Thanks for reading pete
