Thanks for accepting me on this forum.

After ten years of traveling in off-road campers, I'm taking it easy and for two years my wife and I have a Hymer B514 motorhome.
This Spring we want to visit the UK and Ireland. Our main interest is visiting prehistoric sites.
We hope to find a lot of tips on this forum and of course we will share our experiences with other visitors of this forum.

Best Regards,
Gaas

Welcome, prehistoric sites we have in abundance. Some of the best are in the far north of Scotland. Take midge repellent, waterproofs and warm clothing. :)

Hi Guys,

I feel at home already in this Motorhome Fun Community, thanks for all your lovely and creative welcoming reactions.

@John Laidler
In 2016 we have been in Scotland for the first time and we were confronted with the midges, but we were well prepared. We visited some really beautiful old sites.

@ianthebuilder
I would not go into Amsterdam with your Hymer; parking the rig in Amsterdam will be a real challenge. We are in Ireland at that time, so maybe somewhere else at another time
