Well hello everyone,

My name is Adam and along with my partner, Kerry, have taken the decision to quit it all and live in a van. All at the measely ages of 23 and 24!

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151443562268882&l=aeb58defb9

We started in our lovely (if a bit basic) blue Smurf Van Ford Transit self converted back in May 2013 and proceeded to drive South to Barcelona and back. We have just returned and bought an upgrade. Coach built palace of an Autosleeper. All ready for our future adventures.

We write about it all on our blogs:

http://vagabondingadam.blogspot.com
http://xkerryw.blogspot.com

And I'm sure as time goes by we shall enjoy many a discussion with all of you 'funsters'

Cheers!
Adam (and Kerry)

Thank you all for your warm welcome and even offers of hospitality!

Winning the lottery, whilst high on my wish list, hasn't happened yet! I trained as an Electrical Engineer and was fortunate enough to save up a little, but hopefully sufficient, amount of money. We also travel VERY frugally.

We try to wild camp as much as possible and tend not to eat the 'greatest' food in favor of spending a little on doing activities or going to festivals that we want to do. We strive to spend an average of 20 Euros per day excluding fuel.

HOWEVER that pot is in no way endless and we will need to earn some more, or drastically limit our spending for a period of time in the near future.

I may well start a post in the near future addressing this problem. I'd just like to develop a consistent and manageable way of earning money whilst motorhoming.

I shall have a search through the forums for inspiration first though!

There is a great couple on this forum called Europe by camper, they did a big tour last year. Addie and Sophie they have a blog somewhere, that might be an interesting read.

Pat4Neil,

It just so happens that I met Adam (europebycamper) over on a different forum a few years ago when all of this was just a pipedream. Now it's a reality and I have purchased his external wifi antenna and had many a conversation through Facebook!

Creche or just moving with the times ?! ;)

With all us youngsters being priced out of bricks and mortar, the logical solution is fibreglass and rubber!
