Heading to Portugal around 12th dec

    Would be nice to tag along with others!

    I drove HGV's for 10 years all over Europe but have never seen anything...Well lots of truck stops and Industrial estates!

    No we are going Euro Tunnel (courtesy of Tesco) Early Tues morning 16th hopefully be down the Algarve by the friday....depending on the roads ..going to Lagos for couple of nights xmas :

    We cant wait to get away its so cold here been freezing fog all day, outside looks like a xmas card....

    R's in gear and going....

    All set to leave on the 12th... two nights booked at Parc Verger 14th and 15th (thanks Bob and Di) and leaving there on the 16th and heading down to the Algarve... prob xmas is Lagos area too!

    Minky poys Val? (Maybe Trinidade or in Luz, not sure yet)... is it advisable to book... site and the minkies?:Wink:

    We are going into Trinidad because its near where our friends are,hopefully xmas day out for a meal nearby.friends will book for us but dont think you really need to ill find out .We will be at (adam & Eve)nr monte gordo Wild camp for a couple of nights when we arrive after filling up with water etc at castro Marim.The weather being as it is we are not going down with water in the tanks in case of freezing .I think its pretty cold north spain .

    Minky Pouys ????? what exactly are they, I've celebrated many a Christmas traditionally but I've never heard of them either. Anyway as we will be in Lagos for Christmas too, perhaps you can introduce us to them.....Von

    Also I love chicken vindaloo that will do us for xmas ....Looks like a nice xmas dinner coming up lol

    Hi Guy's Just to let you know, its a bit cold down here at the moment ( 8' in the van at 07:00 in Tavira) And I noticed that the temp in Salamanca was -4 a night or two ago, its still better than the UK:thumb:

    Well I am traveling down with Graham on the 12th and looking at his post we I be in Lagos for christmas too!

    Whats this about booking christmas dinner....Graham are we eating on christmas day mate?
