Shocking footage but unfortunately it's a frequent reality.
It would have been interesting to learn if the driver stopped yo go back and pick his wing mirror up.

We broke down on the A1(M) junction with A63. The number of trucks driving with wheels on the hard shoulder was frightening particularly when the only realised they were on a collision course at the last minute and swerved out.

The lady in the breakdown truck said it was like running the gauntlet now as there is no assistance from the Police or Highways as she is loading vehicles.

I'm traveling in a minibus on the M4 London bound.

Followed an artic that was literally half on the motorway and half on the hard shoulder. Wish I'd have been in the van with the dash cam. No wonder people get killed or injured on the hard shoulder.

Don't know if he was sleepy, on a phone or reaching over the cab, but whatever it was, luckily there was no one on the hard shoulder.
