I cannot tell a lie I'm a miserable sod on my birthday, I just don't like getting old, even though I have so much to be thankful for, said to Marg we'd just have a quiet meal and it would be nice to see the kids and grandkids, well they all came at the weekend and surprised me, (not really, you can't keep a secret in this family) son and d in l flew in from Gothenburg with eldest granddaughter, daughter and S in l down from Bristol with two youngest grandkids and we had a nice meal and a bit of a jam session at home in the evening, had a lovely weekend I'd have them all back living with me in a heartbeat, said I didn't want any presents but they me got an all expenses paid trip to London to see Guns n Roses in June with my lad, well chuffed, can't wait, great weekend and sad to see them all go.

Obviously disappointed to learn that I won't get my bus pass till I'm 66 but hey there's no bloody buses where I live anyway so I'll just have to drive, I believe however I can get a senior citizen railcard so that might be handy for London. Senior Citizen! piss off, I can't believe I am one, I'm still a dick who doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up! Ces't la vie.

Today I thought I'd treat myself so I went to Morrisons and bought a steak and kidney pie (two actually but I'm saving one) and some naked noodles and then washed the Motorhome, oh yes, how the other half lives, thanks to everyone for all my birthday messages and hope to catch up with many of my Funster friends soon, stay well
