How much would people expect to pay for a habitation check?

I've just looked up my local dealer and they want £200:cry:

    is this normal?:Eeek:

We missed a habitation check and when we came to change, the dealer did one and found "many, many hundreds of pounds worth of damp sir".
On a four year old Auto Trail Scout......

"They all do that sir." :Eeek:

And they expected me to :-

    1. Believe them.
    2. Buy another one from them at nearly 70 grand.
    3. Not to inform Auto Trail as to why I was not going to buy another of their products.

Needless to say I went elsewhere and did the deal without any mention of fictitious damp.

    So shop around. :thumb:
