Bought a "Silverscreen".. for the M.H..

And those fine fellers at Silverscreen`s said when I ordered it that I should get some gutter to put over the door...

Cos the Rapido`s doors close onto a seal and not recessed like normal doors.. and the water/rain will run down the bodywork and in behind the silverscreen where it hooks over the top edge of the door..

So got some of this off E.bay... Just as well I got it right... first time..

Cos once you start to put it on there aint no taking it off to try again..

It`s sticky man.... brilliant stuff, and bends to any shape... :thumb:

On the subject of Silver Screens, does anyone know how you're supposed to secure the bottom corners closest to the door handles?
There's a tab / loop each side but it's not obvious (to me anyway) what you do with them.
Do you hook a bungy cord into them and hook the other end under the door or what??

from memory the internal traingular fillet should slip over the full depth of the door window so securing the whole of the rear edge.

this image (centre picture) shows the screen on the inside and the fillet outside but obviously its the same the correct way round

    Here you go..

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130878709963?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

As said if you use it, play a hairdryer on the place you are going to put it.. to get it warm and perfectly dry..

"And make sure it`s in the correct position".. no second chance..

I did play the hoes on it to see if it worked and even with the amount out of a hose not a drop went inside... :thumb:

    Pappajohn is correct...

This one has the gusset halfway across the top door opening and right to the bottom of the Silverscreen... no excess to flap about.. :thumb:

I have put a link up to the Ebay seller...

You can buy it in any lengths,,, but the 1 meter was plenty long enough to go across the top and down the edge some... :thumb:

    Definitely Genuine Silver Screens PappaJohn.
It says so everywhere, even on the bag they came in.
They also have an odd looking "Bib" thing which I think is for covering the external vents??
