Oh no! Good luck with the eviction.
By coincidence, just wiped the floors in ours, use a touch of Peppermint oil in the water. Not absolutely sure it does anything but can't do any harm.

we had the little buggers get in whilst away in the alps
they pinched the dog biscuits
from in the door foot well where we stowed the bag.
I bought some mouse poison bait and put it in plastic bottles in the foot wells with the tops off.
Never saw the mouse at all.
However when we got home I was checking the oil levels and heard a rattle. They had stashed the biscuits in the bonnet lid behind the sound proofing material
lots of biscuits
Cleared them out with difficulty. But had no problems since

Only problem with poison if they die somewhere that you can't access you got a problem when they rot

I found two little blobs on top of my bed cover this morning:( No sign yet today anywhere but am getting fed up of the time I have to spend wiping floor and surfaces with lavender and peppermint oil, bleaching every cupboard, tumble dryer sheets, etc etc.

Are we having a plague?

And I suspect they may be killed .. :( can't look either.

But just think how much you would save on lavender , peppermint oil, bleach and you can leave it on all the time no idea if it works
