That's a shame, always fancied a market stall, and used to sell veg on a regular car boot / market until it closed down and done a bit on other peoples stalls since, but not lately

Bill - I think I agree our local markets are really quiet and more than half the stalls are closed :(

I had to live for the first 5 weeks in the van when I arrived at my new post. There just wasn't room for me at the time, however I loved it!! :)

Parked up on the grass 200 yards from anyone, EHU out of a garden shed, rabbits running around on the grass as the sun went down and waking up to the cows in the field right next to me - perfect :)

Made actually getting up and going out, really hard work!! :)

Great news on the job offer too (y)

Good luck with the new job Bill. We love living in our van, except when we both work from home on the same day, two people, two computers, endless phone calls and Colin booming down the phone at some poor sod! I get a headache on those days.:oops2:

Been to a few markets here in France in the last few weeks. Prices higher than supermarkets, often by a long way and quality not always better. We like the atmosphere but don't buy much.

Market near to me is open 6 days a week & is full with a huge waiting list, it's often packed solid & people come by coach to visit it.
