Just got back from an enjoyable 16 day jaunt to France - hot down in the Jura but very mixed elsewhere.

The calamity of the trip was leaving the gas burner lit when closing the glass lid. Frankly I thought it isolated the gas but be that as it may the toughened glass lid smashed with a most impressive bang into minute pieces.

Now where to source the replacement? It seems to be the Spinflo Basic Line Triangular Hob Series 330 Left hand with the black striped lid (or used to have a black striped lid....)

Where to source the lid? That is the question. Been searching the internet without success. Any ideas please?

Thetford have exploded diagrams of parts for all their products HERE. Download the Cooking Appliances PDF and the parts are shown under Hobs/Triangular Hob.

At the top of the Thetford web page there is a link to Dealers & Service Centres. Your nearest dealer should be able to help.

Graham, that's useful, we have a supplier only a couple of miles away.

I was hoping to find out the cost first - avoids that jaw dropping moment at the counter.....

We did the same last year on a very similar shaped lid, it cost around £75 from the dealer and took 6wks to arrive.

In the Jura now but it's wet.....

On the bright side that's £5 cheaper than I paid and it will arrive in half the time.
