Why is it that a bottle of gas over here is so expensive. Just got a refill £30.95. in Spain I was paying €12.65. RIP of Britain.

Look at Safefill. Refillables..... No connection with the company,but had two in our c/van days.

Used gas-it refillables for a few years now, they supplied all pipes and got a fill point fitted, costs about £6 to fill a 6kg bottle and conveniently can be done at a petrol station supplying lpg.

Sorry meant to say that is for a 13.5kg bottle, Spanish one is slightly smaller but still there is such a huge price difference..

I am such a skinflint i baulk at your price ! it was either last year or the year before it was only 40 cents a litre in Belgium and Germany was shockingly cheap as well. I doesnt half make you feel better each time you fill up for a tenner for 3-4 weeks useage knowing ppl are paying 50-60 quid more each fill up time.
