In France at the moment. Diesel at 1.25 Euro/litre at Super market filling stations. What is the going rate in Spain please?

It's about 1.289 for our gazoil/diesel where we are Malcolm...it may be that price you are quoting down mid/west France.....unless our local supermarkets have gone since two days ago

Near Seville 1.37 but if you are going into Portugal, the garage near the bridge it is 1.25. So fill up as you come out of Portugal, or before you go in.

like everything else we have found here in Portugal, it's all a lot cheaper than Spain especially the food, I paid €2.29 for a whole uncooked chicken and €2.49 for 6 filleted pork chops.

Well I live just an hour away from Portugal, and I wouldn't say that Portugal is "a lot cheaper than Spain" not at all, I find the prices are pretty even, if you compare across the board.

    Thanks all round

Thank you all who posted here. We filled up in France at a supermarket and did not see any cheaper in Spain on that first day. Luckily when we did need to fill up it was only one cent more expensive than in France. :thumb:
