Just changed from being a tugger to having a motorhome. Our first weekend away was rather wet but very enjoyable. Any advice for someone new to motorhoming is welcome. We really liked the way that 90% of other motorhome occupant give you a wave. Looking forward to many trips in the coming years and might meet a few people form here.

Hi and welcome, if I'm in the 10% and don't wave it's because I've just finished rollicking the kids:Smile:

We did the same ourselves 6 weeks back and been away 3 times now and plan to go away every other weekend. a lot easier than messing bout with a 'van as we can just get home from work on Friday and set off. No need to go too far either to get away from it all. Also planning a week between Xmas and the New Year but not sure where to go, so if anyone has any good suggestions??

    Welcome Gordon!

    Welcome Gordon and Caroline!
We see another member from north of the border, we are new as well, we also had a caravan before the mh! Straight into the van and off, no more messing around pulling something behind you:thumb:
There is a wealth of knowledge on here as well:Smile:
