Hi All
Just seeing if anybody can help me. Got two broken glow plugs which mechanic snapped when trying to remove them. does any body know anyone who can get them out in the dorset area any help would be helpfull.

There are specialists who do this job, usually mobile and will be called in by most workshops because they have specialist tools, just had my Merc done, it was just one glow plug and cost £150 all in. Your mechanic should be able to locate a specialist to do the job

Not always the mechanics fault! If plugs are replaced often then usually no problems but people don't always change them regularly and they get seized in. We instruct our mechanics not to lever too hard if they are seized and then give the customer the choice of continuing to try or not but sometimes they snap without very much pressure if very corroded. If they do snap then best a specialist removal!
Not saying that's what has happened in this case but just mentioning.

The water feature on that age of Ducato resulted in water sitting on top of the engine around the injectors and gplugs
Was common for these to seize hence u already know u need specialist removal
