Does anyone use this money changing service. I had a message from my semi tame boffin in Munich this morning telling me he got 1.27 today.

The difference between 1.23 and 1.27 is not going to make you a rich man. ;)

Difference of rich and the super rich, even tighter than a ducks A..e.

Like fuel prices, unless you are a major haulier 5p/L x 90L = less than a fish supper

But of course if it was my money.........

True!!!! But we are enjoying the trip, we could be sitting at home looking at the 4 walls waiting for god.
Plus we used the ferry to get to santander from Portsmouth that saved a lot of fuel.

Agree, 4 cents in the pound wont make you a rich man on a weeks holiday, but when away for 6 or 7 months at a time or when buying motorhomes in Germany at 40 or 50K a go then its hardly buttons (excuse the pun).

Have just returned from the Dometic agent in Alicante. A new fridge board has just cost me 322 Euros. Now had I got 1.27 instead of 1.23 I would have saved £8-24. Thats a meal out or a nights drinking for one in Benidorm. Now that £8-24 wont make me a wealthy man, but multiply it by a long term stay and it goes towards the purchase of my Porsche Boxster .

I can see your logic but I tend to just put my card in the wall when I need some cash like I do at home. Looking at my US statement the exchanges looked pretty good but I could be mistaken.:)
I think a Boxster would be a great Benidorm eye catcher. ;)(y)

Trees are starting to lose their leaves but is still warm enough to go without a cardi.
