Hi all has anyone used the tunnel this week? I'm off to France Saturday morning and hearing now there could be delays due to the usual trouble with immigrants trying to get a free ride to England.
Thanks John (t660)

We came back on Saturday and there was a delay on the French side due to increased security, however it was from what we could see operating normally on the English side.

Shush there.
DC doesn't want immigrant crisis talked about or reported until after the referendum vote tomorrow

Came back on Sunday and it was the same. However the time from turning up to being on the train was about the same as normal and we still ended up on an earlier train than the original booking. It took about 45mins to get through the booking, passport and customs checks but then everyone was waived straight onto train.

I traveled by motorbike on Sunday but it looked like Motorhomes were being directed to the usual far right lane in Calais and suffering less queuing than other traffic.

Came back on the 8.50am this morning an hour earlier than booked. Increased security on the French side, but nothing on the UK side - totally normal situation, but we did cross before most of them are up and about I think!

Came back 11am Tuesday. No migrants, didn't see any extra security and no delay. All running as normal except it seems if you arrive early you may not get offered a crossing earlier than your booked time. We usually are able to go earlier but not this trip. Outward 23 April ands back last Tuesday 21 st as per booked times

Had one for 5 years many moons ago. Now starting again.
From Eurotunnel site a few minutes ago:

Folkestone terminal:
Our passenger service is currently operating with some timetable disruption, this is due to unforseen capacity restrictions. There is a waiting time of approximately 30 minutes on the terminal.

French end as normal.
