Hi All the electric operated step to my driver door on my Hymer 678 2010 keeps clogging up with road mud ect I want to disconnect the electrics to it. I cannot find the feed to the step. Is there a fuse or relay that I could disconnect. I have found the feed from the Electro bloc it’s a EBL 99 and the connecting block 4 is the feed to the step, But this is also the feed the lights & electric step to the side entry door. The step operates when I open & close the driver’s door. Any help would be welcomed.

I had a similar problem with my habitation step, made a mudflaps type piece of protection from damp proof membrane from builders merchant, attached it to the step mounting bracket and no problems since (a few years). Give it a try and you might be able to keep the step working.

On my B584 the connections are under the unit (oven unit in my case) next to the door.

Edit: must read more slowly - mine's for the hab door.
