Ducato 06+ wing mirrors (1 Viewer)

Hi

Mad transit van man has taken out drivers door mirror !! Can get short arm replacement no trouble but extended arm are like hens teeth - tried wingmirrorman and many others with no joy. Has anyone taken one of these apart. Can you swap the arms over? Since the arms on mine are OK this may be a way to go - but would appreciate help from anyone who has dismantled one!

Don't know about the 06, but my 02 will not interchange, both side are different.

f........g Transit got me last year on 2007 Ducato electric so most unhappy i taped it up changed the broken glass . This year due to sale i replaced it with a new one -£175 fully fitted i was expecting much much more . Sorry if i went off your point

Thanks for that!! I have investigated further and find that its manufactured in such a way that the arms are integral and not interchangeable. So like you I shall have to resort to purchase of a new mirror. Really annoying since it is only the rear of the casing and the indicator lense that are broken. Worse still I can't find one at anything like the price you are quoting. Like you have taped it together for the time being!

I know its miles away in N.Wales but Hardy's in Pwllheli telephone no.01758612121 did the supply and fit for £175 they had to order the part !!! So could ask source?
