I had a very good phone call with Bateson trailers today
they will re-plate my trailer for the princely sum of Five pounds
so i can get it rated to 2200KG from the current 2616KG

plate coming off tomorrow and new plate should be with me in a few days
so in a week i will be totally legal whoop whoop! :thumb::thumb:

i have been thinking of getting the motorhome downplated to 4900kg from 5000kg just so i can get a trailer for the smart as they mostly seem to be plated at 1100kg and my van only has a 6000kg train weight.

nice to see its easy.

Plated weight

I was under the impression that it does not matter what a trailer is plated at as long as you do not exceed GTW
