I have the above fridge which has manual ignition.
I tried to light it today on gas but I couldn`t get the Pizzo ? ignition to operate.
No clicking and no flashing light when I press the thermostat knob.
The manual isn`t much help. I have the top flue outlet and vent plus a lower horizontal vent in the floor behind the bumper (not really accessible)
12 volts on, gas tap on manifold open, gas to hob working ok, light inside fridge working so I assume fuse ok.
Does anyone know where I start to look ?
Thanks

When you press the knob a switch operates that supplies 12v (from the same 12v supply that lights the internal light) to a module that makes sparks and flashes the little light. So either the switch that operates when you push the knob has failed or the ignition module itself. There's no piezo involved - that is the earlier device that had a separate clicky button.

I`m guessing it`s probably the ignition module at fault but access looks very difficult without removing the fridge.
Is it a diy job or strictly specialist given the sealing from hab area thats needed.

if its sparking its not the ignition module ,can you see it sparking at the burner?if yes then its lack of gas usually blocked jet or gas valve failure if no then check the lead isnt sparking somewhere else due to a short
if its that hard to get to its possibly just never been cleaned from day one
ignore that ive just read theres no spark duh

I'm trying to remove the fridge now to see why it's not working on gas but struggling to get it out.
I've removed four screws from inside the fridge and it won't budge.
Could just be the seals but it still seems really firmly fixed, am i missing some fixing ? Nothing seems to be shown in the manual.
Also the gas connection is really firmly fixed with sealant, any tips for softening it ?
Thanks
