A collegue of mine is about to purchase his first motorhome.
He asked me to have a look over the weekend and I must admit that it looks like a nice 'van. Needs a bit of a clean but its well tidy and would make a good starter.

Compass

We have owned a 1995 ‘m’ 2.5 turbo diesel Compass Drifter 460 (see my pics) for the past year.

Took it around France with no problems, The only think I was told to check was for leaks as they can have a tendency to have some problems.

True to form mine had previously had some work done but all is now well.

Had a full service and cam belt done when we bought, other than that we have just done cosmetic changes inside.

We love the U- lounge and the van drives sound. The 2.5 is more than adequate for the job. We had a 1989 petrol Elldis Ducato van before, so this felt like luxury in the driving dept.

Also good on fuel with around 25mpg delivered on trip to France.

Hope this helps
Best
Nick
