How do I find out if the cobra alarm fitted to a 2007 Burstner Solano that I am purchasing is Thatcham rated.

You need the installation paperwork from the original installer.

If it wasn't installed by an approved person then it doesn't matter what it is, it may as well be a £20 DIY jobby.

Thanks for you quick reply, will look through all paperwork as dealer as given me manuals and paperwork although I do not complete and pick it up until 10th May

You should have a certificate of compliance issued on behalf of Thatcham by the installer in your paperwork with any luck

if it was fitted new chances are was not Thatcham, my insurance on my new to me van this year stipulates "Thatcham cat 6"
