Since April 1846 but have always camped.
There was a recent thread with pictures of some decent looking free standing cooling fans. I can’t find the thread so has anyone any suggestions ideally with pictures please?

Not Maxxfan.

We'd been toying with the idea of getting a MaxxFan but the cost just to use it for venting steam from the cooker was a bit OTT and to be honest I've got enough on at the moment (and for the foreseeable future!) without having to remove my existing vent and installing one so we've got a Fiamma Turbo Kit to use in the vent instead but the reason I'm mentioning it is that it could be used as a free standing fan too.

A Woosh bang
Thanks I had heard that they could be a bit noisy though?
that was why I sold mine .. too big and noisy

I use a 240v 9in oscillating desk fan, about £15

if off-grid I use a small 150w inverter .. works a treat and the fraction of the cost of any 12v fan.
