We are currently stationary in Southern Spain until we depart for Sardinia in a few weeks but fancy exploring the area around Conil for a week or so,any recommendations on the best place to stay?

There are camp sites listed on camper contact.(camping Roche?)
We used to stay at el Palmar beach,but have not been there for
Two years,. It's probably worth a look.
The surf kids use this beach a lot and it used to be free!

In conil there used to be a space at the south end of the prominade where one or two vans
Were tolerated ,out of season..

Lot up for the winter at Pinar de San Jose at Zahora a short drive from Conil. @PenelopePitstop is probably still there.

We have stayed at Conil on the ACSI there La Rosaleda it is a well rated on the ACSI site; there is nothing to dislike about it and Conil is walkable from La Rosaleda. We have also stayed at Pinar de San Jose as suggested by “makers” above; Pinar de San Jose is also a good well rated ACSI site. Both sites are well run and won’t disappoint. If you have the time I would stay on both sites if I was you whilst you are in the area.

We stayed for 30 days in Feb/March at Rosaleda to get the 9.80 euro a night rate and had a great time. Easy walk or bike ride into town/beach. Bar and restaurant not to expensive great facilities etc. Plenty of wrinkles there of course. 2 less now we have gone!

We stayed at Camper Roche in Conil in February had a lovely time intent going back next February. Brandy tasting is a must.
