If your clutch needs replacing is there another job you should do at the same time?

not necessary in my opinion.
motorhomes dont do intergalactic mileages so throwing away good old oil to be replaced by good new oil.
Recommended change period may be in excess of 80000 miles.

More important would be a fifth gear upgrade on older model Fiats while the box is out, if it hasnt been done.

Thank you all. I will definitely ask about the 5th gear. I had my mot, services and brakes done it cost me £532.

For the sake of less than £20 of oil? If the clutch is shot, its fair to assume the van has done a few miles!

if the oil was meant to be changed at relatively low mileages the manufacturers would specify a lower mileage in the service schedule.

Not a case of being tight

I have never changed a clutch on my own vehicles, and never changed the box oil on any vehicle unless its been due.
